Atlas Marble and Carrara share the same metamorphic origin and crystalline white-grey aesthetics. Atlas Marble is sourced from Morocco and ships to the US at 0% import duty under MAFTA — making the landed cost 20–35% lower than Italian Carrara. Both meet ASTM C503. The primary visual difference: Atlas Marble has a slightly warmer undertone than cooler Carrara.
Atlas Marble in honed or leathered finish is a popular choice for kitchen countertops. Note that marble, like all calcite stones, is reactive to acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar) — we recommend sealing upon installation and using cutting boards. Polished finish shows etching more visibly; honed finish is more forgiving for kitchens.
Standard slab formats: 60×30, 60×60, 60×120, 30×30 cm at 12mm (interior) and 20mm (countertop) thickness. Custom cuts and edge profiles available for architectural millwork.
